Project  / Toewijzen
The setting 'Allocate' is available is the setting 'WMS allocations projects' in the general WMS setting is enabled and the setting 'Generate WMS allocations' in the WMS Inventory settings is enabled. For more information about WMS allocations, see E-WMS - WMS Allocations

Compare based on range
When creating a non-guided count in WMS the option 'Compare based on range' can be enabled. When the setting is enabled the item stock during the compare step is not checked on the picked location(s) but on all locations within the created count range. Example:

Item 'ACHAIR' has stock in warehouse 'MAIN' on the following locations:

  • LOC1 - 100 pieces
  • LOC2 - 50 pieces
  • LOC5 - 5 pieces

A new non-guided count for ACHAIR is created for the complete warehouse 'MAIN'. During this count the following stock is counted:

  • LOC1 - 75 pieces
  • LOC2 - 100 pieces
When the count is compared after reading back, the following result will be displayed:
 Location  Old  New Difference
 LOC1 100  75 - 25
 LOC2 50  100 50
 LOC5 0 - 5

Despite LOC5 seems not counted it is still included in the comparison and the stock is adjusted accordingly.

After entering the selection criteria press 'Start'. When the inventory is created successfully a message will be shown. When pressing 'New' again you will see that all filed are grayed out and can not be edited. If needed you can remove the count via the button 'Delete'.
the next step is reading from scanner.

Delete
This button offers the possibility to remove a count which has been read back.

Read from scanner
After registering a count on the hand terminal it has to be read back in the company. This can be done via this button or via [WMS, Te be processed, Inventory Counts, Read from scanner]. After reading back it's possible to edit the transaction via the button 'Open'.

When reading from scanner a screen with the default communication method is shown (depending on the setting 'Ask user' in the WMS Inventory settings) is shown. In this screen you can select the communication method and file name (only applies to communication method 'File').

Compare
Use this button to compare the stock for each warehouse/location/item which is available in the company with the stock which has been counted. It depends on the setting is two reports are being printed. One report shows errors in the counted stock (difference between the stock in the company and the counted stock) and one report with the correct counted stock.

After this you return to the control centre in which all items with differences are shown. The columns 'Stock', 'Scanned', 'Scanned less' and 'Scanned more' are now filled.

Process
This button only applies to status 'Validated'. Via this button the count can be processed.
